Icom The compact Icom IC-M31 is designed for reliable, simple and safe operation and offers superb value for money. It features a one-piece, die-cast aluminium chassis and an ultra-durable polycarbonate case and has a long-lasting, rechargeable Ni-Cd battery that fits inside the radio case and locks firmly into place to provide a waterproof seal.

The IC-M31 also includes an empty battery case that can be used with standard AA batteries providing a convenient back-up and reassurance in an emergency. Despite its low price, the IC-M31 has many of the features often found in more expensive models including one-touch channel selection TAG scanning, one-touch channel 16 selection; normal/priority scan selections; and dual/tri watch.

The clear LCD display on the is one of the largest on the market, and with the backlighting on, channel numbers and other display indications are easy to see, day or night. The large keypad is also backlit, and settings may be locked to prevent accidental channel changing. This is an exceptional quality and value for money package!
